High on the priority list for these lovely clients, was to create an organised storage area at the entry. A place for the kids (& parents) to put away their shoes, bags, scooters before entering the house. A clever cupboard houses the vacuum stick and each cube has a purpose. Household goals! We discovered in the selection process that the clients love both warm and cool colours. We balanced out the tones for enough contrast, yet a feeling of harmony. The kitchen has Japanese hand made tiles on the splashback with warmth of the timber joinery details. A last minute decision was to add a skylight to the kitchen to bring in more natural light. The process involved colour consulting on materials & finishes, kitchen, bathroom and laundry design consulting, designing joinery, design managing and window furnishings that took us to a place where we are very happy with the collaborative outcome.
